These terms govern your use of NaijaVenue. By creating an account or booking through our platform, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully.
Using NaijaVenue
NaijaVenue connects customers with venue hosts and service providers across Nigeria. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.
Bookings & Payments
When you book a venue, you pay a deposit (typically 30% of the total) to secure your date, with the balance due as agreed with the host. Prices include a platform service fee. Payments are processed securely via Paystack. Once a booking is confirmed, cancellation policies set by each host apply — review them before booking.
Host & Provider Responsibilities
Hosts are responsible for accurate listings, maintaining their venues as described, and honouring confirmed bookings. Service providers must deliver services as advertised. NaijaVenue is a marketplace facilitator — we do not own venues or employ service providers.
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation terms vary per listing. If a host cancels a confirmed booking, you receive a full refund. If you cancel, the refund depends on the host's cancellation policy and how close the event date is. Disputes can be raised from your dashboard and are reviewed by our team.
Prohibited Conduct
You must not post false or misleading content, harass other users, attempt to circumvent the platform to avoid fees, misuse the booking system, or violate any Nigerian law. Violations may result in account suspension.
Limitation of Liability
NaijaVenue provides the platform on an 'as is' basis. We are not liable for the actions of hosts, providers, or third parties, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our maximum liability is limited to the service fees collected on your transaction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a platform notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
